America in World War II: Looney Tunes
Jun 28th, 2009 | By admin | Category: NewsAmerica in World War II Magazine features my fifth installment for their regular department, “The Funnies.” Each article focuses on a particular pop culture or comic character icon through the lens of the WWII era. The current issue (June 2009 cover date) offers a look at the Looney Tunes cartoon characters and their role in the war effort. Online, the good folks at the magazine have even linked a great video clip of Bugs Bunny referenced in the article.
